The BSE
Mid-top Index is exchanging down 0.01% at 11,003, while BSE Small-top Index is exchanging
down 0.16% at 11,017. M&M, Tata Steel, BHEL, NTPC, ONGC, HUL, HDFC Bank and
TCS are among the gainers, though ICICI Bank, GAIL, Bajaj-Auto, Adani Ports,
Hero MotoCorp and Axis Bank are losing sheen on BSE.
At 9:36 AM,
the S&P BSE Sensex is exchanging at 25,555 down 123 focuses, while NSE
Nifty is exchanging at 7,828 down 26 focuses.

stocks touched another 52-week low on the NSE.
The Indian
rupee opened lower by 11 paise at 66.72/$ against US Dollar on Tuesday as
against the past close of 66.61/$. Indian rupee lost ground in the early hours
of yesterday's exchange, with qualities moving above 66.70 levels in the spot
